An enrichment activity nobody has done before, that everybody can play properly by the end of the first session.
Why padel
A sport that starts working immediately
Most racket sports take a term before anyone enjoys them. Padel does not, which is what makes it work as enrichment.
Playable from minute one
The serve is underarm, the court is smaller and the walls keep the ball in play. Students are having real rallies in their first session rather than fetching balls.
Everyone is on court
Padel is doubles. Four play at once, partnerships rotate, and nobody spends the session standing in a queue waiting for a turn.
A level start
Almost none of them will have played before, so the usual sporting pecking order does not carry over. Students who opt out of other sport tend not to opt out of this one.
It runs whatever the weather
Our Kidderminster club is indoors, so a session booked in February is a session that happens.

Shaped around what the school actually wants
We would rather build something around your timetable than hand you a fixed package, so the shape is up to you.
Where
Two clubs, two very different rooms
Kidderminster is indoors, so nothing is ever called off for weather, and there is a pro shop, refreshments and free parking on site. Leeds is outdoors and floodlit, at a multi-sport venue with 5-a-side pitches alongside the courts.
